Legal Administrative Specialist - Litigation

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is seeking a Legal Administrative Specialist (LAS) to support the Litigation Practice Group. The LAS will work in the office three days per week, with flexibility for client demands or accommodations approved by the practice group. Responsibilities Use Task Delegation and Workflow Management software (BigHand) to receive, enter, update assignments, and communicate status of task completion and new developments to supervisors. Assist with word processing; edit and proofread correspondence, memorandums, reports, and general communications. Answer phones, take messages, assist with time entry, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, arrange audio and video conferences, reserve conference rooms, and set up equipment. Maintain attorney calendar; advise attorney of appointments, update attorney address book and InterAction entries. Perform redlining, prepare individual signature packets of closing documents, compile exhibits and schedules, and assemble executed signatures of final documents. Process new business intake, related forms, and correspondence. Process expense reports and invoices, arrange check requests, and monitor through completion. Arrange travel, prepare itineraries, and maintain attorney travel and desk profiles. Coordinate or assist with printing, scanning, copying, and sending documents. Provide legal research, case support, and project assistance as needed. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Education & Experience At least seven (7) years of administrative support experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous law firm experience required. Experience supporting a Litigation practice, including State and Federal Court rules and filing procedures. Overall performance rating of Consistently Meets Expectations or above. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and PDF software. Flexibility to work overtime required. Salary range for LosAngeles: $86,825.00 – $113,131.00.
