You will work with a diverse group of clients across different geographical locations, utilizing a secure online platform to conduct video sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive individual counseling sessions through video chat, supporting clients in exploring their emotional experiences and mental health challenges.
• Facilitate open discussions that promote self-awareness, helping clients to identify personal goals and strategies for achieving them.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, empowering them to take proactive steps towards their wellness.
• Evaluate the mental health status of clients, crafting individualized treatment plans that address specific concerns using evidence-based approaches.
• Implement solution-focused strategies and therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's situation and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with stable adults facing low acuity mental health challenges, thereby allowing you to provide focused and effective treatment without the complexities of severe mental health conditions. Clients are pre-screened for appropriateness, ensuring that you can engage with individuals in a supportive manner that aligns with your therapeutic expertise and demographic preferences.

Qualifications

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
• Licensing: Must hold a current, unrestricted license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) enabling practice without supervision.
• Strong clinical skills: Proficient in developing effective treatment plans and employing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities paired with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and a strong level of comfort with technology to ensure smooth session delivery and management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a community health setting or familiarity with telehealth practices will be advantageous. A background that includes a diverse range of client interactions and treatment modalities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to USD 70,000 annually, depending on your hours worked and level of experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Core Solutions provides a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors, ensuring you have access to the support you need while you care for others. Payments are made via weekly direct deposit, providing you with consistent income and financial security.
