Financial Advisor Assistant

Position Overview The Financial Advisor Intern will support advisors in delivering high-quality financial planning and wealth management services to clients. This role provides hands‑on exposure to investment analysis, client relationship management, financial planning processes, and day-to-day operations within a financial advisory practice. Key Responsibilities Assist financial advisors with client preparation, including gathering financial data and preparing meeting materials Conduct basic investment research and monitor market trends Help prepare financial plans, retirement projections, and portfolio analyses Support administrative tasks such as account opening, paperwork processing, and CRM updates Participate in client meetings (when appropriate) and take notes for follow-up actions Assist with portfolio reviews and performance reporting Help develop client communication materials (newsletters, presentations, market updates) Perform data entry and maintain accurate client records Support compliance and documentation requirements Qualifications Candidate should be an incoming junior or senior in September 2026. Minimum 3.2 GPA, detail oriented, organizational skills, excellent written and communication skills. Proficient in excel and financial spreadsheets.
