Job Description

An established textile manufacturing company in Graham, NC, is seeking a dependable Warp Hanger to join its production team. This hands-on position involves assembling, preparing, and installing large yarn beams onto textile knitting machines to keep production running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely around industrial equipment. This is a second-shift opportunity requiring 2–3 weeks of initial training on third shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble warp beams by selecting and mounting large yarn rolls onto steel shafts.
• Inspect bearings, install spacers and collars, and prepare components for machine operation.
• Transport, position, and install completed warp beam assemblies onto textile knitting machines using appropriate equipment.
• Check beam alignment and ensure bolts, collars, and end caps are properly secured.
• Assist with beam changes, maintain a clean work area, and help minimize production downtime.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Previous manufacturing, machine setup, material handling, or textile experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and large mechanical components.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with equipment setup.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and machine setup instructions.
• Must be available Monday–Friday for second shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM) after completing 2–3 weeks of third-shift training (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM).

The base pay rate for this position is $14.50 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
