Job Title: Medical Assistant (Outpatient Practice)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and customer-service-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to support daily operations in an outpatient medical practice. In this role, you will assist physicians with clinical procedures, conduct patient intake and vital signs, perform administrative and scheduling tasks, and deliver compassionate patient and family education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Intake: Escort patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, obtain brief medical histories, and prepare patients for clinical examinations and treatments.
• Clinical & Procedure Support: Assist physicians with minor exams and procedures, administer injections, and deliver patient and family education or counseling as directed.
• Administrative & Clerical Operations: Manage phone calls, greet patients, process incoming/outgoing mail, coordinate referrals, and schedule follow-up appointments with outside facilities and specialists.
• Exam Room & Instrument Maintenance: Sanitize and stock exam rooms, care for surgical instruments, and operate autoclave equipment for sterilization.
• Practice Operations: Support the orientation of new staff members, participate in team meetings, and step into lead/charge support functions as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent [Required] .
• Clinical Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Medical Assistant experience [Required] .
• Core Skills: Strong phone etiquette, front-desk greeting skills, clerical proficiency, and room cleaning/maintenance [Required] .
• Core Competencies: High level of courtesy and patient respect, adaptability, strong team communication, and solid clinical foundation.
