- Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege access, service accounts, authentication integrations, and data protection controls

- Establish platform standards for warehouse sizing, auto-suspend and auto-resume, resource monitors, workload isolation, and cost management

- Monitor platform health, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to improve reliability

- Manage database objects and platform hygiene, including schemas, tables, views, retention settings, and obsolete resource cleanup

- Support data integration and connectivity with AWS services, including S3, IAM, and relevant data ingestion and processing tools

- Automate administrative tasks and operational processes using SQL, Python, scripting, and APIs

- Develop operational dashboards, documentation, and procedures for platform monitoring, incident response, access reviews, and cost reporting

- Collaborate with engineering teams on platform architecture, upgrades, new capabilities, and enterprise data initiatives

The ideal candidate

- Extensive hands-on experience administering and supporting Snowflake in a production enterprise environment
