Family Law Paralegal - Columbia, MD - ONSITE/HYBRID A growing family law practice is seeking an experienced Paralega l to join its collaborative team in Columbia, Maryland. Responsibilities: Support attorneys in all phases of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and related proceedings Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court filings Manage case files, deadlines, and case-related documentation Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, case updates, and document collection Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third-party professionals as needed Organize and maintain electronic and physical files Assist with discovery, hearing preparation, and trial preparation Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure cases move forward efficiently Requirements: 3-5 years of paralegal experience within a law firm Family law experience strongly preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with MyCase or similar case management software is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service Schedule: Onsite initially, with one work-from-home day per week after onboarding Location: Columbia, MD Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 Benefits: Three weeks PTO, 12-15 holidays, health insurance contribution, life insurance, STD/LTD coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr
