CGP - Commissions Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Commissions Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $45,000 to $55,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process, review, and audit incoming commission payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company guidelines.
  
  
• Analyze and reconcile carrier spreadsheets with payments, converting them into a compatible electronic format for import.
  
  
• Confirm and calculate commissions according to predefined scales to maintain consistency in payouts.
  
  
• Maintain commission schedules in the proprietary software system and ensure accurate tracking.
  
  
• Monitor and audit commission payments, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  

• Have at least 2+ years of experience in commissions processing, financial analysis, or a related role.
  
  
• Demonstrate excellent math and organizational skills for precise commission calculations.
  
  
• Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  
  
• Show proficiency in Windows-based computer systems, including Excel and Outlook.
  
  
• Possess the ability to type 35-40 words per minute (alpha-numeric) to efficiently process commission data.
  

• Maintain experience in the insurance industry (preferred) for a deeper understanding of commission structures.
  
  
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze and manage commission discrepancies effectively.
  
  
• Communicate professionally with senior leadership to review carrier contracts and broker compensation.
  
  
• Organize and update commission data, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with company standards.
  
  
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment while handling multiple commission-related responsibilities.
