X-Ray Technologist in Newfield, NY

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures using digital and conventional imaging equipment.
• Properly position patients, adjust equipment, and ensure image clarity for accurate diagnostic outcomes.
• Document patient history, procedures performed, and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility protocols.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards, ensuring the well-being of patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support prompt diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Valid state radiology license as applicable.
• Proficiency in both digital and traditional film X-ray technology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Recent hands-on clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
