During the interview process, we'll discuss your preferred location(s) and current openings. Please note that not all locations may have active vacancies at the time you apply, and placement will be based on current hiring needs and availability.****POSITION OVERVIEW** Providing assistance to teachers, students, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of daily activities within the school setting.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** ● The Aide will work under the direct supervision of the principal to provide support as needed on the campus. ● Assists in duties such as making copies, delivering materials, and other projects, as needed. ● Assists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, lunch periods and field trips. ● Assist in the drop-off and pick-up of children through Driveline, possibly during inclement weather. How Driveline Operates at LTS (video) ● Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers. How Driveline Works at LTS. ● Alerts the regular teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student. ● May assist staff and students in use of educational computer programs. ● Performs other related duties as required by the supervisor which do not require any professional skills. ● May periodically work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.**COMPETENCIES** ● Ability to positively interact with all students. ● Ability to positively and professionally interact with parents. ● Create a safe learning environment that is conducive to learning. ● Ability to identify individual student needs. ● Good communication skills with students, coworkers, administration and parents. ● Ability to collaborate with school staff. ● Ability to maintain a professional appearance. ● Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**REQUIREMENTS** ● High School Diploma/GED required.**BACKGROUND CHECKS** The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check. ●Arizona Employees: Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card**WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS** ● The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ● Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
