Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description: 13 to 26 weeks option 48s or 36s accepted. MUST HAVE 1 year of EPIC EMR experience. Strong Cardiac Stepdown needed. AHA ACLS and BLS, NIH required. Med and arrhythmia exam required.

Unit Details:

• Staffing & Scheduling Scheduling Type: self

• Patient Ratios Weekends: 4
• Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
• Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac to include: STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, PPM Placement, Defibrillator placement, Ablations, arrhythmias, CVA, and medical telemetry overflow.

Travel Compliance:

• Travelers cannot extend for a 4th consecutive contract.
• Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to an employee status after working their third consecutive 13-week contract or after 39 weeks.
• If the traveler does not wish to convert to a team member status, they will be required to take a minimum six-month separation before they are eligible to return as a traveler for the organization.
• Travelers must be 100 miles from every Prisma facility to be eligible to travel in the system, unless they are one of the two exceptions below.
• 90-99.9 miles are accepted at a 10% bill rate reduction.
• 100+ miles full bill rate.
• Exception 1: Night shift travelers for below specialties must be 50+ miles ONLY from the contracted campus they re applying to. Full BR granted at 100+ miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible.
• Adult Multi-Specialty Adult Medical Tele / Adult Cardiac Tele / Progressive Care All RRT
• Exception 2: Below specialties must be 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville). Full BR granted at 100+ miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible.
• Operating Room (including allied and SPT) Cath Lab (including allied) CT / MRI / IR Techs / Echo Techs MLTs, SLPs, PTs, OTs, Dietitians Adult ICU Prisma Health Tuomey (All open positions) Local radius: 60 miles For CRNAs only Will consider nurses with 1+ years of recent experience in unit. Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal. Orientation is every Monday and an annual compliance requirement for Prisma Health. Pre Assignment testing (all RNs) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.
