Accounting Assistant Floater (Grain Operations) Location: Wesley, IA Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience Position Overview The Accounting Assistant Floater supports daily office and grain operations, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, strong customer service, and efficient workflow across responsibilities. Work Schedule Standard Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Seasonal Hours: Monday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Primary Responsibilities Office and Accounting Duties Provide customer service Answer and direct phone calls Maintain grain records Perform scale operations Manage office supply inventory Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned Grain Operations Provide customer service related to grain transactions Buy grain Issue grain checks Issue grain contracts Issue grain warehouse receipts Perform daily grain position reconciliation Quote grain prices Operate scale for incoming and outgoing grain Perform grain grading Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in general computer applications required Willingness to learn Gold-Eagle Accounting system and grain database Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred General bookkeeping knowledge and skills required Basic knowledge of grain quality requirements is helpful Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and adapt Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed Additional Requirements Ability to travel to Gold-Eagle locations as needed Travel will be conducted using a company vehicle #J-18808-Ljbffr
