Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Commercial Pipefitter in Orlando, FL to install and fabricate piping systems for commercial mechanical construction projects.
Support project timelines by completing pipe fabrication and installation efficiently
Maintain safe work practices while working with large-diameter piping and at elevated heights
Contribute to team productivity through skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail Responsibilities Install piping systems for HVAC, plumbing, and process applications in commercial buildings
Fabricate and assemble pipe sections using cutting, threading, and welding techniques
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles and specifications
Install pipe hangers, supports, and anchors per engineering drawings
Test piping systems for leaks and proper operation before turnover
Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper installation sequencing
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Requirements Must-Haves
5+ years of experience in commercial pipefitting
Proficiency in reading blueprints and piping isometrics
Experience with carbon steel, copper, and PVC piping systems
Valid driver's license and ability to commute to job sites
OSHA 10 certification
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work from ladders and scaffolding Nice-to-Haves
Welding certifications for pipe welding applications
Experience with medical gas piping systems
