Requirements / Qualifications

Two Letters of Recommendation Education: Equivalent to completion of twelfth (12) grade. Experience: Two years of paid public contact work, preferably involving supervision of students or any combination of training experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities may be considered. A work history demonstrating dependability and reliability.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES: Following the recruitment closing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass the paper screening will be invited to participate in a panel interview with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.

The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations. All applications and supplemental information will be reviewed to determine the candidates whose training and experience most closely match the requirements of the position. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the testing process, which may include written, oral and/or performance exams. The testing results will determine the rank of the candidates from which an eligibility list is prepared. Selection will be made from the top three ranks on the list.
