Middle School Science Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Middle School Science Teacher to join a growing educational organization in Palmetto, Florida. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement through engaging science instruction and hands-on learning experiences.
Position SummaryThe Middle School Science Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering standards-based science instruction for grades 6-8 while creating a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes student success.
Essential Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards.
- Incorporate laboratory activities, experiments, and project-based learning.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and positive classroom culture.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school leadership.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to support student achievement.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
- Florida Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Previous middle school teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for education and student development.
- Experience teaching Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, or STEM-related subjects.
- Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom.
- Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
