Pay: $18/hour ($3 shift differential for second shift and $2 shift differential for third shift)

• Mechanical ability/aptitude/awareness - helpful
• Awareness of working around machinery - helpful
• Experience/knowledge of shift work expectations
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish set goals
• Forklift driving experience - highly preferred

Equipment/Attire Requirement:

• Steel-toe over the ankle work boot (worker responsibility)
• Hi-Visibility hard hat (provided)
• General purpose gloves (provided)
• Hi-Visibility safety vest (provided)
• Safety eyewear (provided)
• Long pants of durable material (jeans preferred)
• Shirt with sleeves, minimum to cover shoulder (no loose clothing)

As a Warehouse and Forklift Technician you will work with the Corteva production team to utilize standard operating procedures (Work Instructions) to maintain safety and quality while performing your daily functions on and off a forklift.

Duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Driving of a forklift in the act of: Picking, Pooling, Staging, and loading/unloading carriers trailers.
• Will be required to work in other areas of the production plant, when needed, performing tasks other than driving a forklift.
• Ability to use a (RF) Radio Frequency forklift mounted computer and scanning software to maintain inventory accuracy of products.
• Ability to learn SAP, R3, WMS (warehouse management system) as needed.
• Abiding by safety policies/procedures and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while completing any and all work on property.
• Communicating clearly and respectfully with Team Leader and other team members throughout the processes.
• Receiving and counting stock items, recording data manually or by using a computer, following standard operating procedures (Work Instructions) to ensure accuracy and transactional excellence.
• Examining and inspecting stock items for Quality concerns or defects, reporting any damage to Team Lead or Shift Supervisor.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work environment (sweeping, removing debris etc.) in work area as workload allows and as required.
• Storing items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas ensuring compliance with Quality and Safety regulations.
• Reporting any accidents, near miss incidents or safety violations and bringing any issues, potential hazards or concerns to attention of Team Leader, Production Shift Supervisor or Safety Supervisor as soon as possible - no later than the end of your shift.
• Participating in any incident/accident investigations with Corteva Safety/Supervisor teams as necessary to find root cause of incidents.
• Maintaining cleanliness of lunch/break rooms by cleaning up after yourself and following posted expectations.
• Following direction of Corteva Supervisors for additional work duties that may be necessary/required.

Physical Task Requirements:

• Ability of standing/sitting for extended periods; operating forklifts; repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting (minimal requirement 60 lbs.), exposure to warm and cold weather conditions.

Additional Details:

• Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Transportation to and from assignment location is the responsibility of the worker.
• Must abide by site seatbelt policy - seatbelts must be worn in all motor vehicles on Corteva property.
• Must abide by site electronic device policy - The use of mobile phones and/or other portable electronic devices by an individual operating a vehicle is permissible when it is done with hands-free technology. Only use mobile phones and/or other portable electronic devices with hands-free technology (i.e., only by voice commands or single-touch activation without holding the device).
• Cellular phone/mobile device (including iPods/MP3 players) are not allowed in working areas during work time. Use is restricted to break area during scheduled lunch and break times.
• Food and drink are not allowed in the work area.
• Park only in marked and appropriate areas as directed by Corteva.
• Corteva is a smoke-free workplace.
