Technical Support Specialist - On-Site in Laguna Niguel & Huntington Beach

CAL IT Group is a growing full-service Managed Services Provider (MSP) currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist primarily supporting one of our clients in Laguna Niguel. You will install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. If you’re computer-savvy, enjoy supporting end users, and looking to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment, we’d like to meet you! To succeed in this role, you should have a problem‑solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written. You should be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide Windows, Mac, mobile device, cloud application (e.g. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.) support Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, install operating systems & applications, system imaging and system migration Setup and train users with required applications and hardware Resolve issues for clients remotely and in-person Assist with regular proactive monitoring of client backup & data recovery operations Track customer issues and resolutions with using our ticketing system Build rapport with clients Requirements 4-Year College Degree or equivalent experience in a similar position Microsoft 365 / Azure Management VMware experience a plus At least 1 Moderate Level certification desired (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skillsPositive and professional demeanor Must demonstrate the ability to effectively work independently Must have strong organizational, priority and time management skills with the ability to multitask Reliable personal vehicle with the ability to drive to clients as required Ability to participate in after hours on-call rotation Compensation & Benefits Ten paid holidays per year Paid time off Paid Sick time 401(k) with matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Volunteer time off Casual work environment Cell phone reimbursement Professional development assistance Referral program #J-18808-Ljbffr CAL IT Group
