Billing Specialist

Position Type: Permanent, Contract to Hire Benefits: This position is eligible for Health, Vision, Dental and 401(K). Pay: $22-25/HR Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule. Verify billing information, pricing, and supporting documentation before invoices are issued. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, account adjustments, and customer inquiries. Maintain accurate billing records and update customer account information. Monitor billing activity and assist with payment tracking and follow-up as needed. Reconcile billing records and assist with month-end reporting. Collaborate with accounts receivable, sales, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate billing. Process credits, adjustments, and rebills as needed. Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and streamline processes. Ideal Candidate: Previous billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and accounting or billing software. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to research discrepancies and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
