Lead the charge in transforming LEGO's injection molding operations, driving safety, quality, and innovation while developing a high-performing team in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. This position will start with a general administrative shift (8 AM to 4 PM) until the manufacturing site completes the ramp-up stage. Afterwards, it will transition to leading the 2nd shift schedule, which will be a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule. Core Responsibilities Lead daily injection molding operationsto ensure safe, stable, and efficient production performance. Drive production performancethrough data-driven decision making and operational excellence. Coordinate activities across teamsincluding Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and Quality. Oversee mold setup and changeoversto align with production schedules and capacity requirements. Promote a strong safety-first cultureby ensuring compliance with LEGO safety requirements and regulatory standards. Develop and lead a high-performing teamfostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunitiesto enhance production flow and manufacturing efficiency. As a Production Group Leader, you play a crucial role in supporting the broader organization by leading this dynamic department. Your leadership ensures seamless operations, optimal resource utilization, and the development of a skilled workforce. Do you have what it takes? A degree or technical training in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or Automation is desired. Experiencein manufacturing operations, preferably within injection molding or highly automated environments. Must have: Demonstrated leadership experiencemanaging production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold setup, process validation, and troubleshooting. Proven success in driving operational performanceand continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with highly automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and digital platforms. Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability. Excellent problem-solving skillswith a focus on safety, quality, and compliance. Nice to have: Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)and quality management systems like ISO 9001. Familiarity with preventive maintenance coordinationand equipment reliability strategies. Background in plastics technologyor related fields. Strong analytical skillsto identify production trends and improvement opportunities. Experience in cross-functional collaborationwith engineering and automation teams. Additional This position is for the 2nd shift International travel will be required No relocation is available Compensation The salary for this position has a range of $84,674.00 - $127,010.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
