Teachers must also be lifelong learners who desire to improve upon their own knowledge and have a teachable mindset. K-5 Latin Teacher – Waxhaw, NC Location: Thales Academy Waxhaw, Waxhaw, NC. The 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities include: Implementing the approved curriculum, providing pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses. Cooperating with teammates to develop teaching skills. Collaborating in team planning meetings and sharing curriculum and instructional expertise. Engaging in professional development opportunities. Acting in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communication while following established guidelines. Promoting communication between parents, community members, and teammates, and establishing and maintaining home‑school connections. Assisting in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school. Qualifications High energy and organized with a passion for teaching children.
