Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Human Resources Coordinator:

• Answers phones; email correspondence; communicating in a professional manner with all managers, employees, vendors and customers.
• Serve as initial contact for general HR inquiries/emails and distributes to the appropriate HR team member.
• Opens, sorts, and delivers mail appropriately.Maintain office supplies and breakroom supplies.
• Complete employment verifications from other employers.Complete onboarding activities for new hires to include sending welcome emails, monitoring completion of required documentation, issuing badges, and completing E-Verify.
• Process status changes to include terminations of employees in electronic employee files.
• Maintain electronic employee records including file attachments and updating the system.
• Manages and updates any necessary records and reports as needed.
• Assists HR Director and HR Business Partners with various projects and/or special projects.
• Promotes, supports, and adheres to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Seeks resources for direction, when necessary.
• Performs other related functions and duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications for Human Resources Coordinator:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development and/or equivalent work experience in a Human Resources Department
• 1-3 yrs previous work experience in an HR department, excellent understanding of HR workflows
• the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal and written)
• HRIS and MS Office Suite proficient
