Licensed Clinical Therapist (1099 Contractor) Hybrid (Virtual + In-Office Option) – Brooklyn Center, MN High Earning Potential | Established Referral Stream We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established private practice seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join as a 1099 independent contractor. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated clinician who is comfortable building and maintaining a 25–30+ client caseload and values flexibility with strong administrative support. Position Highlights 1099 Independent Contractor Flexible schedule – set your own hours (virtual and/or in-office) Office space available Large, active waitlist with steady referrals Full administrative support including billing, insurance verification, and collections Compensation 60/40 split (therapist receives 60%) Average reimbursement equates to approximately $74–75 per clinical hour 30-client caseload averages approximately $100K+ annually (conservative estimate) Psychosexual evaluations compensated at $1,500 flat fee Paid biweekly once reimbursement cycle is established Client Population Adolescents (including sex-specific treatment) Trauma Couples and family therapy Depression and anxiety General behavioral health concerns Psychosexual evaluations (bonus skillset) Qualifications LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred Prior 1099 or private practice experience strongly preferred Experience working with adolescents required Sex-specific treatment experience or ability to conduct psychosexual evaluations is a plus Ideal Candidate Comfortable maintaining 25–30+ weekly client sessions Understands 1099 contractor structure and tax responsibilities Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills Able to work independently while collaborating as needed Organized, reliable, and self-motivated Here's a estimates breakdown: Therapists with 15 client case load are making $52K/year on average (20 hours/week) Therapists with 30 client case loads are making $104K/year on average (35 hours/week) Average hourly is $75/hr (varies between $60-90/hr depending on insurance or cash client) If you are a driven clinician seeking autonomy, flexibility, and strong earning potential within a structured private practice setting, we encourage you to apply.
