Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Palm Springs, California location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role requires a California phlebotomy license and at least three months of relevant experience, with flexible scheduling including potential weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments as required
- Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT) or filed application
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three months phlebotomist experience
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
