Head of Data Engineering

To support a growing legal technology company, the remote Head of Data Engineering will design and build data warehouse architecture, develop reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, and establish data quality practices while managing the data function over time. Key responsibilities Design and build the data warehouse architecture, including schema design and pipeline orchestration Develop and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data across core business systems Establish data quality, governance, and monitoring practices to ensure accuracy across the data stack Required qualifications Proven experience building a data warehouse and core data infrastructure from scratch at a high-growth SaaS or technology company Deep expertise in data engineering, including data modeling and ETL/ELT pipeline design Strong proficiency with SQL and modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) Experience integrating and modeling data from GTM systems such as CRM and marketing automation platforms Demonstrated ability to translate business workflows into durable data models for decision-making
