Murphy’s Family Staffing is hiring construction laborers, trade helpers, and production workers for a modular home manufacturing facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania . Help build homes inside a factory while learning practical construction skills.

Entry-level applicants and experienced tradespeople are encouraged to apply. Whether you have years of construction experience or are dependable, comfortable with tools, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you!

Positions and Work Areas

We’re recruiting for opportunities across these departments:

• Rough Carpentry & Framing: Carpenter helpers, framing laborers, and rough carpenters assisting with floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Finish Carpentry & Cabinet Installation: Trim carpenters and helpers installing cabinetry and interior trim.
• Drywall Hanging & Finishing: Drywall laborers, sheetrock installers, hangers, tapers, and finishing helpers.
• Painting: Painters and helpers preparing walls and ceilings for paint.
• Flooring Installation: Flooring installers and helpers supporting home flooring installation.
• Plumbing: Plumbers and plumbing helpers assisting with residential plumbing work.
• Electrical: Electricians and electrical helpers supporting residential electrical installation.
• Sheathing & Siding: Construction workers and helpers assisting with sheathing and siding.
• Roofing: Roofers and roofing helpers supporting modular home construction.
• General Labor & Production: Utility workers, material handlers, and construction helpers supporting different departments.

You do not need experience in every trade. Tell us what you know, and we’ll consider you for the department that best fits your skills.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting pay: Pay will be based on experience)
• Performance review after 90 days
• Full-time, direct-hire opportunities
• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (Production is behind so end time could be between 4:30pm & 5:30pm
• On-the-job training for entry-level workers
• Work primarily inside a modular home manufacturing facility

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the Scranton facility.
• Willingness to follow directions, work with a team, and learn.
• Ability to read a tape measure and familiarity with basic tools.
• Commitment to safe work practices and a clean work area.
• Construction, remodeling, homebuilding, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is helpful.
• Modular home or manufactured housing experience is a plus!
