Sales Administrator

Our client is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $25/hr Position Overview: The Sales Administrator will support the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, helping ensure smooth sales operations and excellent customer service. This is a junior-level role suitable for someone early in their career, with opportunities to learn and grow within the sales function. Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator: Assist the sales team with preparing quotes, proposals, and basic contracts. Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system. Process sales orders and ensure accurate data entry. Support tracking sales leads and following up on basic inquiries. Prepare simple sales reports and summaries, including weekly and monthly reporting. Coordinate with internal teams, including Finance and Operations, on order status and delivery. Handle routine customer inquiries via email and phone, escalating issues when needed. Organize and maintain sales documents, files, and templates. Assist with scheduling meetings, calls, and demos for sales representatives. Required Experience/Skills for the Sales Administrator: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Sales Administrator: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software. Event planning and coordination experience. Knowledge of procurement and budget management processes. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Coursework or training in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
