Licensed Therapist (Full‑time) Portland DBT Institute is hiring full‑time Licensed Therapists (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) in Oregon. All applicants will be considered independently. Applicants must be licensed or license‑eligible in Oregon at the time of application. DBT experience is not required, but a commitment to learning DBT and achieving fidelity is expected. As a DBT clinician, you will provide comprehensive assessment services, individual therapy, and phone coaching, with the opportunity to lead skills training groups of your own. You may work remotely or at one of our Oregon offices in Portland or Medford. Typical hours are 8‑5 Pacific; flexibility depends on client availability. Compensation and Benefits Fee‑for‑service model; established providers average approximately $105,000 after their start‑up year (estimate only, based on productivity). Start‑up stipend of $15,000 over five months or option to receive a first‑year salary of $70,000 before moving to fee‑for‑service. Free in‑house CE trainings approved by APA and NBCC, plus annual training stipend of $500 for additional supervisor‑approved trainings. Case consultation and expert supervision. Administrative support for insurance credentialing, billing, and prior authorizations. Requirements Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. Current, unrestricted Oregon state license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist) or license‑eligible. Demonstrated commitment to DBT or other evidence‑based practices. Ability to pass a criminal background check and verification in exclusions databases. Marketing Associate (Full‑time) Reporting to a member of the executive team, the Marketing Associate plays a key role in expanding awareness of PDBTI’s clinical services, training division, and driving referrals. Core Responsibilities Outreach & Relationship Development Conduct proactive outreach (cold calls, emails, networking) to healthcare providers, referral sources, and community organizations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, hospitals, and behavioral health systems. Represent PDBTI’s services clearly and compellingly. Identify and pursue new partnership and referral opportunities. Marketing Execution Support development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Assist in creating written materials, including emails, outreach messaging, and promotional content. Help coordinate events, trainings, and community engagement efforts. Ensure consistent and accurate communication of clinical services and offerings. Performance Tracking & Accountability Track outreach activity, pipeline, and results independently. Monitor progress toward goals and adjust strategies as needed. Provide regular updates to leadership. Maintain organized records of contacts and outreach efforts. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with clinical, training, and leadership teams to align messaging with services and priorities. Translate clinical offerings into clear, accessible messaging for external audiences. Support special projects and initiatives when assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (psychology, social work, behavioral health, marketing, or related field preferred). 1–3 years of experience in marketing, outreach, sales, or behavioral health settings preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health systems and terminology is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Comfort with cold outreach and initiating conversations with new contacts. Strong problem‑solving skills and perseverance. Self‑starter with ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to navigate obstacles creatively. Billing Specialist (Full‑time) The Billing Specialist will manage detailed behavioral health receivable work under the direct supervision of the Billing Manager, working remotely from the United States with strict HIPAA compliance. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate $24.27–$25.00. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k) with employer match. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Research and address claim denials, resubmit corrected claims, and handle insurance aging reports. Enter incoming insurance payments into relevant systems. Assist clients directly over the phone, clarifying billing practices and balance statements. Process client credit card on‑file payments. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Detail‑oriented. Strong phone, computer, and typing skills. Team collaboration skills. HIPAA familiarity and compliance. Ability to investigate and resolve insurance/billing errors. Time‑management prioritization. Professional manner with insurance companies and clients. Education and Experience Behavioral health billing (2 years). Insurance aging (1 year). Experience with AdvancedMD strongly preferred.
