Due to expansion and growth, a non-automotive, non-union, consumer products manufacturer is seeking an A/R and A/P Coordinator to work closely with corporate accounting and support North America operations at the Tiffin, Ohio site. This position reports to the Corporate Finance Manager and is responsible for the following tasks:

• Process A/R and A/P for the Tiffin location
• Prepare and run weekly and monthly financial reports
• Prepare and verify weekly A/P payments
• Assist with collection activities with customers
• Utilize 10-key data entry for accounting system information input
• Assist with cash flow forecasting
• Partner with the accounting and operations teams to complete projects efficiently
• Communicate with team members on accounting improvements and projects
• Once trained and acclimated, learn future accounting tasks
• Other duties as assigned by management

This position is on site Monday-Friday and does not offer a remote or hybrid schedule. Qualified candidates should be flexible with their work requirements and be willing to wear many hats! Characteristics of the A/R and A/P Coordinator will be trustworthy, punctual, honest, eager, determined and an excellent problem-solver. Requirements for the A/R and A/P Coordinator:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, post education is preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting position processing A/R and A/P
• Experience working in an accounting role in manufacturing and/or distribution
• Strong data entry skills, including 10-key
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and be flexible with work requirements
• Microsoft Office, including Excel

Skills preferred but NOT required:

• Power BI
• Inventory management
• General accounting skills, including general ledger and reconciliation
• Rebate and claim experience
