Automotive Dealership Service Greeter/Valet Job Description

10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday

Overview:

The Service Greeter plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for customers visiting the automotive dealership's service department. They are responsible for welcoming customers, assessing their needs, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Greeting: Greet customers promptly and warmly upon arrival, making them feel valued and welcome.
• Needs Assessment: Actively listen to customers' concerns and determine the nature of their service requests.
• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle, noting any visible damage or issues.
• Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about service progress, 
• Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the service area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Get proper information to service advisors to that they request
• Keep Service lane free of cars and clutter
• Tag Vehicles and park accordingly
• Assist technicians as needed, such as delivering parts or retrieving vehicles from the parking lot.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and service procedures.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems and computer applications.
• Valid driver's license
