Quick Facts: Location: Petoskey, MI Start Date: March 1, 2026 Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM 4:30 PM + 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call) Duration: Multiple dates between Jan 22, 2026, and March 13, 2026 Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum Tenens Certifications: MD or DO, Illinois licensed or eligible Experience: Proven Gastroenterology experience, ERCP required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay: To be discussed (per hour worked 7a-5p) Orientation Pay: Half of hourly rate for onboarding Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, medical benefits, paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements, referral bonus, holiday pay at 1.5x, and more What You ll Do: Provide outpatient and inpatient GI consultations and procedures Perform endoscopies and ERCPs as required Support hospital-based endoscopy coverage and patient consults within scheduled hours Collaborate with a team of physicians and APPs onsite Manage scheduled scopes and assist with emergent cases during your shift Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR system What You Need: Valid MD or DO license in Michigan or eligible for licensure Minimum of 2 years of GI practice experience Ability to perform ERCP procedures Strong clinical skills and teamwork abilities About the Assignment: This assignment is with a leading hospital in Petoskey, MI, which features a dedicated medical team and comprehensive onsite services, including labs and X-ray.
