Perry, OH NEW Full Time Electrical Designer II Perry, OH (On-site) Benefits: Standard Medical, Dental, 401(k) Pay Range: $45.00 - $47.40 Responsibilities Ability to produce complex 2D engineering drawings. Check drawings for accuracy including dimensions, spelling, drafting standards and completeness utilizing correct project design criteria. Participation in field walk downs as necessary, to obtain measurements, verify as-built documentation, and develop field sketches in support of plant modifications and design installations will occasionally be required. Develop designs with minimal direction from Design Supervisor, Design Lead or Engineering and will concurrently support multiple projects. Develop drawings and resolve design discrepancies. Ability to interface with the customer and their construction representatives to integrate designs to satisfy their standards is a must for this position. Qualifications Associates degree in drafting, design or engineering technology or 4 years of equivalent experience in the design of electrical and controls systems. Must have 5 years (minimum) of experience in engineering, drafting and electrical design practices in addition to the education requirements. Knowledge or use of Raster Design or 3D modeling experience is a plus. Ability to utilize various drafting and CADD techniques as required for project requirements.
