Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse needed in a critical access hospital setting. This position involves working in the Emergency Department and floating to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed. The role requires providing care for a diverse patient population in a 15-bed facility, with a focus on trauma, cardiac, diabetic, and chronic conditions. Job Details Position Description: Nurse will work in a critical access hospital caring for birth to geriatric patients, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1. Responsibilities include managing cardiac and diabetic drips, and working in an emergency department environment utilizing telemetry equipment and Cerner electronic medical records. Required Qualifications: Active Colorado nursing license, valid certifications on file at the time of submission, minimum of 2 years of inpatient RN experience, certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and BLS. Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting October 5, 2026, through January 4, 2027. Additional Information: RN required to mix own medications as there is no in-house pharmacy. Manager interview and offer required.
