Job Title
This is a grant funded position open to current Full Time Internal Faculty Only
3-credit reduced load per semester
Stipend: Fall/Spring $500 per semester
Summer $2160
Winter $540
Coordinates professional development activities for faculty and staff to improve student retention and engagement
Examples of Duties
- Schedules Professional Development activities for instruction in all delivery modes and secures presenters and delivery format (in person, zoom)
- Ensures adjunct faculty and presenters are compensated for participating in training (when applicable)
- Recommends annual Adjunct Academy programming and coordinates the event
- Offers practical strategies to create a classroom environment which encourages creativity and engagement
- Offers practical strategies to create a classroom which is non-threatening and conducive to a collaboration and student interaction
Typical Qualifications
- Must be a full-time faculty member
Supplemental Information
- This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location
