As a Business Analyst in Business Banking, you focus on streamlining and improving processes related to Data Risk Management. Acting as a subject matter expert, the Business Analyst defines business requirements documentation and ensures adherence to internal Data Risk Management policies and standards. The position helps implement initiatives that strengthen risk mitigation and data management controls, while supporting the Business Banking Data Risk Management Team and broader Business Banking functions to ensure compliance with firmwide policies and standards.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements and translate them into well-designed, high-quality data solutions, including build and test activitiesPartner with business solution owners to elicit, define, and validate requirements for data products and analytics solutionsMaintain a continuous learning mindset, staying current on Large Language Model-enabled capabilities (LLM), Alteryx, Tableau, and automation platforms, and applying new tools where appropriateDemonstrate a commitment to excellence through strong professional judgment, integrity, ownership, and disciplined executionBuild and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to anticipate needs and deliver value through analytics, insight, and proactive engagementCollaborate with cross-functional partners to influence solution design, ensuring alignment with business strategy, architecture, and technical standardsProvide guidance and oversight to team members to ensure timely delivery and adherence to established practices, controls, and quality standardsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Business Banking, Change Management Oversight, Controls, Compliance, Risk, or AuditAbility to tackle ambiguously defined problems, devise creative solutions, and meet tight deadlinesSelf-directed with strong time management skills, capable of multi-tasking and maintaining attention to detailDemonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to unexpected circumstancesWorking knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, LLM and AlteryxExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide sound recommendations to business partnersCollaborative team player who thrives in working with teams across the company to achieve shared objectivesProficiency in Microsoft suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience with writing code using Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or another programming language in a work-related capacityFoundational knowledge in machine learning, data analytics, data modeling, data extraction, data transformation, and data visualizationDemonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and adapt to unexpected circumstances in dynamic environmentsPolished written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in communicating internally at all levelsAbility to clearly define and articulate business requirements, bridge the gap between business and technical teams, and summarize information into concise high-level pointsChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
