Litigation Paralegal

Large law firm is currently hiring an experienced litigation paralegal for a full time and permanent opportunity. The law firm provides exceptional benefits that include: group medical dental vision 401k some tuition reimbursement paid time off etc. The ideal applicant will have extensive civil litigation experience. Applicants that have over 10 years of solid litigation experience working for a large firm focused on civil litigation are encouraged to apply. Bilingual applicants (English / Spanish) are also encouraged to apply however bilingual is not required to qualify. The litigation paralegal supports a busy partner who handles all general civil litigation with an emphasis on complex personal injury, mass tort, product liability, etc. An experienced legal assistant will be part of your team. You will be responsible for drafting all supporting documents; complaints, pleadings, responses, motions, etc. You will also oversee calendaring, scheduling of hearings, mediations and depos. This position requires a team player who has a friendly demeanor but is serious about their career. The attorney is lighthearted and easy going but focused on handling cases quickly and efficiently.
