Assembler

Position Overview We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians / Production Assemblers to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assemble and inspect small components and pneumatic fittings while ensuring quality and production standards are consistently met. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and want to grow within a stable manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble small parts and components using hand tools, fixtures, and work instructions Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and consistency Package finished products according to specifications Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Rotate between workstations based on production needs Accurately complete basic production and quality documentation Identify and report quality or safety concerns to supervisors Assist with training new team members as needed Qualifications Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small parts and tools Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs Good hand dexterity and ability to work with small components Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
