Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Night shift, 1900-0730

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week

Requirements:

• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in cardiovascular care with open heart recovery training
• Proficiency in balloon pump and open heart recovery

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care for cardiovascular patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' status, implementing care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes and health management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed.
