Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Boise, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level IV NICU with 61 beds, including managing premature and surgical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE certification, 2 years of NICU nursing experience (if travelers experience is solely NICU), or 1 year of experience if the traveler has other RN experience.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients, titration of drips such as Morphine, Dopamine, and Epinephrine, and familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
• Additional Information: Charge RN does not take assignments; 1-2 nurse aides/patient care technicians per shift; neonatologist and neonatal nurse practitioner in-house 24/7; possible floating to Peds, PICU, nursery, or Mother Baby units; floating to lower acuity NICUs may occur; orientation includes 2 shifts of unit-specific training and 1 meeting with an educator. Candidates' permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, and proof of licensure is required prior to start. No self-scheduling, with a maximum of 5 shifts in a row; no tele/monitor techs on the unit; hospital blue or personal scrubs. Shifts scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend and holiday shifts as needed. No call or standby duties.
