Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager Position Summary The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's contracting process from intake through execution. This role leads complex negotiations, helps reduce contract cycle times, manages legal and compliance risks, and supports business growth through effective compliance and governance practices. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures. Review customer, vendor, and employment agreements for legal and regulatory compliance. Support compliance related to customs, trade regulations, and other business requirements. Develop and implement compliance tools, processes, and management systems. Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits. Help prevent and address issues related to data privacy, corruption, ethical conduct, and other compliance risks. Deliver compliance training and awareness programs. Prepare compliance reports and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership. Qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or other oversight function. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Familiarity with manufacturing industry regulations and standards is preferred. Strong knowledge of relevant business, commercial, and regulatory laws. Understanding of quality and compliance standards such as ISO and similar frameworks. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance-related systems or databases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
