Journeyman Millwright

Essential Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematic and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery; determining work procedures. Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools. Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools. Construct foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials; such as wood, cement, and steel. Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs. Grind and file machinery parts both on-site and in controlled circumstances. May repair and lubricate machines and equipment. Education & Training High school diploma or equivalent, required Skills & Experience Ability to: Review flat drawings or pictures and understand how they would look as solid objects Rate information using standards which can be measured or checked Work within precise standards of accuracy A current valid driver's license is required This job description outlines the primary duties of the position, but is not intended to cover every task or responsibility.
