This position is ideal for a cook with strong batch-production experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured, and team-oriented culinary environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare large-batch meals for breakfast and lunch servicePerform production cooking, hot line, and food prep dutiesFollow standardized recipes and culinary guidelinesSet up and maintain clean, organized cooking stationsSupport multiple kitchen stations as neededMaintain food safety, sanitation, quality, and presentation standardsAssist with food labeling, rotation, inventory, and storageCoordinate with the culinary team to meet service timelinesProvide professional customer serviceAssist with general food service duties as neededQualifications2-3+ years of high-volume cooking or corporate dining experienceStrong production and batch-cooking experiencePrevious line cook, cook, or chef experienceStrong ingredient prep and station setup skillsKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to follow standardized recipes consistentlyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working across multiple stationsAbility to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and comfortable working early morningsStrong teamwork and customer service skillsWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a clean, organized corporate food-service environment within a San Jose semiconductor campus. The team focuses on high-volume breakfast and lunch production, consistency, food quality, cleanliness, and efficient service.Required Attire: Black non-slip shoes, black pants, and black polo shirt.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
