About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: Approximately 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience License: Required state license Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: EPIC experience, OR experience Description: This position involves diagnostic radiology work in a Level II Trauma Center. The primary patient demographic is adults, with occasional pediatric cases. Duties include performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and assisting in the operating room for various procedures. Experience with fluoroscopy is preferred but not required. Technologists will be trained on the use of specific equipment, including the O-arm in the OR. Contact with around 100 patients is typical within a 24-hour period. A lead technician will be available during the week, with additional support staff throughout the day. Staff are expected to work weekends after an initial orientation week. Weekend rotations involve working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with shifts starting between 0700 and 0730 and ending around 1930 or 2000. No on-call shifts are required for this position. Holiday work will be expected if it falls on a regular schedule. Approval for time off should go through the manager. Uniforms will be provided by the facility. This position requires the use of an electronic medical records system, specifically EPIC. Additional equipment includes C-arms and various portable radiologic units. Staff will be floating throughout the facility for portables and OR duties.
