Director of Technology

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Director of Technology in Raleigh, NC.Responsibilities:* Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy and long-term roadmap* Lead software development, architecture, infrastructure, security, cloud, database, and technology operations functions* Align technology investments and priorities with business objectives and organizational growth* Establish technology governance, architecture standards, security controls, and operational best practices* Oversee enterprise applications, system integration, modernization initiatives, and platform reliability* Drive software delivery excellence through Agile, DevOps, quality assurance, and release management practices* Manage technology portfolios, project prioritization, resource planning, and delivery execution* Ensure cybersecurity, business continuity, risk management, and compliance requirements are met* Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, technology procurement, and budget management* Monitor operational performance, service levels, and key technology metrics to drive continuous improvement* Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and efficiency* Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration* Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutionsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field* 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, software delivery, infrastructure, architecture, or related disciplines* 10+ years of experience leading large technical teams and enterprise technology programs* Proven experience developing and executing technology strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives* Strong background in software development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and technology operations* Experience managing large-scale technology portfolios, budgets, vendors, and strategic investments* Experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery methodologies* Experience working in cloud, hybrid, and enterprise technology environments* Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks* Demonstrated success leading organizational change, technology transformation, and process improvement initiatives* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills* Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing technical teamsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation - $
