Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), including weekend requirements as needed.
The Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) will provide skilled care for newborns and mothers during their postpartum stay. The RN will be responsible for performing assessments, administering medications, and supporting families with newborn care.
Conduct assessments and vital signs for newborn care.
Perform glucose screening and baths.
Administer complex feeds and phototherapy.
Manage medication administration including magnesium and insulin infusions.
Provide education and discharge teaching to parents.
Assist with managing postpartum complications such as hemorrhage and hypertension.
2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar setting.
Current BLS certification required.
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
Travel experience required.
