You will liaise with Counsel's Office and Finance as needed, notably on estate administration and restricted funds.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Manage estate administration process in consultation with Counsel's Office and Finance as needed.Develop and execute planned giving marketing materials for brochures, newsletters, and direct appeals and oversee production and distribution of the same.Track existing bequest intentions and life income gifts and steward existing donors through The Met William Society.Develop and cultivate a portfolio of prospects.Draft planned giving proposals, notably for life income gifts.Manage state filings related to life income gifts and work with outside administrator on management of existing life income gift pools.Manage planned gifts and planned giving donors and prospects on the donor database.Manage particular donor relationships that require special, ongoing reporting and coordination.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.5 years in Development required; at least three years of experience in Planned Giving.Experience interacting with legal and financial professionals, donors, and other fundraising staff.Demonstrated experience establishing rapport with high-level donors and trustees.Thorough knowledge of specific deferred giving vehicles and tax implications of outright and deferred gifts.Previous experience with PG Calc and some knowledge of donor data.COMPENSATION:Pay Range: $115,000 - $130,000 / AnnuallyThe advertised pay scale reflects the good faith minimum and maximum salary range for this role.
