This is a unique opportunity for a proven Incident Response leader to take ownership of a practice area, shape go-to-market strategy, and build a scalable team from the ground up. With strong market traction, investment backing, and an experienced leadership team, the platform is in place for a seasoned DFIR leader to drive commercial and operational success. The Role You’ll also be responsible for: Leading and developing a best-in-class DFIR team Building relationships with insurance panels, breach coaches, and law firms Delivering both reactive and retainer-based services to mid-market and enterprise clients Shaping service lines and go-to-market strategy alongside the executive team Representing the firm at industry events and in the media as a trusted thought leader Ideal Candidate Profile Practitioner-Led: You bring a strong technical foundation in forensics, malware analysis, threat intel, and live response Commercially Switched-On: Able to identify, win, and grow DFIR engagements across direct clients and partners People-Centric Leader: You’ve built high-performing, mission-driven teams and led them through critical response efforts Credible & Visible: Comfortable representing the business publicly, whether at conferences, on panels, or through media What You’ll Need 10+ years in DFIR, including senior leadership experience Proven track record delivering breach response engagements in complex, regulated environments Strong relationships within the insurance and legal sectors Technical credentials such as CISSP, GCFA, GCIH, EnCE, or similar Experience managing service delivery against tight SLAs under pressure Willingness to travel as required across the East Coast and to client sites Why Join This Business?
