Pediatric Dental AssistantHealth Advocates Network is currently seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Baltimore, MD. Pay Rate: $33 / hourDuties: Job Summary: We are looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering outstanding pediatric dental care. Job Responsibilities: -Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for pediatric dental procedures. -Educate children and parents in oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. -Take and process dental radiographs as directed. -Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments. -Assist dentists chairside during dental treatments and ensure patient comfort. -Maintain dental supply inventory and ensure instruments are properly sterilized. -Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA compliance, and safety standards. -Provide reassurance and comfort to pediatric patients before, during and after treatment.Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -One (1) year of hands-on experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. -Ability to build trust and rapport with children and their families. -Proficiency in routine clinical tasks such as taking x-rays, setting up/breaking down rooms, and passing instruments. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Required Education: -Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program. Preferred Education: -N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: -Possession of a valid X-ray license. -CPR. -Coronal Polishing certification.
