Payroll Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

Process payroll garnishments and child support deductions accurately and on time.
Set up garnishment deductions and ensure timely payment to appropriate agencies.
Review and process court-ordered payroll documents.
Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries and jurisdiction correspondence.
Maintain compliance with payroll policies and legal requirements.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and garnishment-related issues.
Analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain detailed payroll records and documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to support payroll operations.
Perform additional payroll-related duties as assigned.

Skills:

Process payroll garnishments and child support deductions accurately and on time.
Set up garnishment deductions and ensure timely payment to appropriate agencies.

Education/Experience:

Previous experience processing payroll garnishments and child support payments required.
Strong hands-on SAP experience required.
Experience setting up garnishments and processing court-ordered payroll deductions required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Must be willing to work onsite up to two days per week.
Candidates should reside within approximately 15 miles of the Lakeland, FL office (Lakeland, Mulberry, Bartow, or Plant City preferred).
