Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level ServiceNow Engineer to join our visible technical program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. This program delivers engineering services for Linux and Windows cloud-based infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure with ServiceNow at the center (hub and spoke architecture). Infrastructure includes modern application technology including both out of box and customer solutions with orchestrated workflows with customer tool APIs. This is a fast-paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government customer community.

Responsibilities:

• Create, deploy and maintain ServiceNow infrastructure and related APIs for all customer applications in an AWS cloud-based environment

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, test automation, and DevSecOps

• Deliver ServiceNow operations and maintenance, utilizing ServiceNow Discovery, Flow Designer, and SAM components, basic DevOps Tooling (Foreman, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab) and automated testing tools (Selenium)

• Conduct DevSecOps testing, developing automated test plans for both security and functional requirements, as well as conducting end-to-end and regression testing with services integrated into ServiceNow

• Configure and monitor visualization tools (Grafana, Splunk) to work with ServiceNow

• Maintain the ServiceNow system to ensure functionality with identities, security, and cloud architecture.

• Create and maintain complex roles and permissions through ServiceNow to ensure customer data integrity and security

• Create and update technical documentation (e.g. user guides, infrastructure diagrams) as well as prepare technical presentations for government and senior leadership

• Communicate effectively in a group environment with technical and non-technical, management and customer both written and verbally

• Utilize robust troubleshooting skills while applying solid engineering rigor to include configuration management and testing

XYZ Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 7 years' ServiceNow experience plus a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Must meet DOD 8570 requirements (Security+ CE Certification at minimum)
• Must possess ServiceNow Certifications
• Demonstrated expertise as a ServiceNow engineer delivering similar scope projects
• Understanding of all security related requirements in secure environments
• Familiar with Agile Methodologies and ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories
• Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
• Strong technical documentation skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• STEM degree
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience configuring tools providing end to end visibility, monitoring, and analytics (e.g. AppDynamics, DynaTrace)
• Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques
• Experience leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains
• Experience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management, TeamWork Cloud/Cameo experience, Microsoft Project and/or Tableau

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
