Education Account Executive

We’re a leading, quickly growing (#153 on the Inc. 5000 list) AI text analysis platform dedicated to empowering businesses and educational institutions as they navigate the ever-evolving landscape of genAI by ensuring AI governance and responsible AI adoption, safeguarding IP, and maintaining academic integrity with comprehensive AI and plagiarism detection.
We are looking for an energized and growth-minded Account Executive to help expand our presence within the K-12 and Higher Education market. The successful candidate will thrive on prospecting, building strong relationships, while contributing to a mission-driven company focused on trust, originality, and integrity of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across K-12 and Higher Education markets.
- Build relationships with academic leaders, technology stakeholders, instructional teams, and institutional decision makers.
- Actively engage in discovery calls to understand customer needs, priorities, challenges, and current academic integrity initiatives.
- Clearly communicate the value of the company’s academic integrity tools and services.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting information in Salesforce.
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by building a robust pipeline of prospects and closing new deals.
- Represent the company with professionalism, curiosity, and customer-first mindset.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of quota carrying experience in technology SaaS sales, with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment, embrace change, and set priorities while working independently.
- Strong communication, listening and relationship building skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross functionally.
- Genuine interest in education, technology, and pursuit of lifelong learning.
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable using CRM tools.
- Based in the New York area, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule that includes three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) in the New York office.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
